Not only is this clip from the Mary Tyler Moore variety show one of the most important things I’ve ever seen, and not only does it feature both Michael Keaton and David Letterman, but it has one of the greatest YouTube comments ever:

Hi, thanks so much. As as dedicated Letterman fan, I knew of this clip, and his work on MTM, and it was neat to watch it. This was not his preferred type of entertainment format, and you can see it by the embarrassment on his face
